Picture an open air spice market on a hot day covered by tarps, surrounded by jasmine hedges and geranium bushes. The spices are held in dry, old wooden barrels while some are being lightly toasted enticing you and drawing you further into the market where there is a small incense stand. Then you get this stiff arid breeze, blending all these aromas together.
