Spraying this while thinking Summer of Love and Age of Aquarius thoughts, I was immediately greeted by the clove and cardamom, with the peach top note almost entirely relegated to the background.

It definitely transports you, the intoxicating spices blending to bring you into a room with beanbag chairs, dimly lit by lava lamps as you’re handed a bottle of something herbal and alcoholic.

The middle notes of rose and white florals present themselves after some dry down, bringing a lightness to the spices akin to taking the Grateful Dead blankets off the windows to let in some sunlight.

At the base, the chocolate and musky patchouli underline the warmth of the spices, evoking the more sensual and free aspects of 1969 in a way reminiscent of a summer love meet-cute at Woodstock sharing the last clove cig.

It lasted longer than the 1826 and 1876, but less time than the 1804, making this a middle ground scent time-wise. Sillage was a small bubble, but it was a happy bubble of peace and sunbeams and the crooning of “Kozmic Blues” in the background.

Definitely a fun, deeply atmospheric scent. 10/10, would wear while whacking Jim Morrison over the head with a SoCo bottle.
