Half the time I was in art school, I lived in Brooklyn and worked in the LES and/or SoHo. What The Stoop.B/5 by Parfums Obim is to Brooklyn, this is to the Lower East Side (but more wearable).
The saffron, jasmine, and pear in the opening creates a beautiful accord over ambery ambergris and patchouli.
It feels like the space between getting off of work late on a Friday night, catching the last few minutes of an art show, going out with friends, being out all night, and riding my bike over the Williamsburg Bridge on my way home.
Similar to the feeling of riding across the bridge at 2 AM, there’s something incredibly calming about this fragrance while remaining interesting and unique - as 2 AM IN LES dries down you’re greeted by cedar, sugary musk, and oakmoss.
I really like this one.
