Scent Review: SOTE 5:17

First of 4 in Discovery Set

Fragrance house SOTE is a Christian niche brand based in Miami. SOTE stands for Salt of the Earth. I purchased their Discovery Set which is a collection of their 4 fragrances in 10ml frosted spray bottles.

The first one from the collection that I am reviewing is 5:17. Per the website...Inspired by 2 Corinthians 5:17 — “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come.”A reminder that no matter where you’ve been, you are made new. The full size bottles are also inscribed with the corresponding scripture passage! LOVE!!

This opens with bright citrus notes! I definitely get the lime and bergamot! It is a bright, clean, and an easy wear! Definitely an easy grab in warmer weather! This isn’t a new scent profile by any means but that doesn’t take away from its beauty! you enjoy scents like Acqua di Gioia, Light Blue, or Eros Pour Femme then you should most definitely enjoy this one. It isn’t effusive by any means and is pretty much a skin scent from the jump but it is such a clean and refreshing scent that it is still highly enjoyable!
