Baking Banana Bread!

51 Pour Femme by Roja LondonRoja London51 Pour Femme4.251 ratings

Decided to wear my sample of 51 Pour Femme today to bake some chocolate chip banana bread.

It's the perfect scent to bake to. I literally smell like a creme brulee 😋

It looks great! I am not tempted as I don’t bake. However, I am glad it isn’t soup 🤣. It is so hot and humid and yet i have never made so much soup as your pictures keep inspiring me.

Haha. I love soup so much. Hot take but it's a year round easy one pot meal. 😉 I am glad you enjoy my soup posts ❤️

I have made your tomato red lentil basil soup 5 times already. I have given it as get well/meal for the caretakers 3 times in the past two weeks (yep, too much sickness/old age). and two batches for us. It has been a huge hit.

Oh my goodness! That is such a wonderful thing to hear. I am glad you all are enjoying it so much 🥹 I hope everyone is feeling better soon. Being sick stinks but soup always helps! Very kind of you to cook for them ❤️

Yum! I’ve been doing meal prep and making my own bread is high on my list of future things to try

    1. doelly

That's awesome, I am a huge fan of meal prep as well! I just have 0 motivation and energy to cook after work. Baking is super fun, and nothing tastes better than homemade bread 😁 Hope you get to try it sometime.

Omg looks so good! I made caramelized banana bread with chocolate chips the other day too 🤤🤤🤤

    1. doelly

Yumm! How did you make it caramelized? That sounds amazing!

Its actually not that hard! I cut them nanners in half long ways, covered bottom of pan before baking. Then made a quick caramelized sugar sauce with no butter just plain water and sugar. Poured that over the bananas in the pan then batter over top of all that. When it comes out the oven you gotta flip it for the full effect which is literally so traumatic btw. But its so good, the bananas become all sugary and browned, aaaand now I'm drooling. Sry for the novel, I yap about food and perfume. There's literally no helping it.
