As modern ambery perfumes have synthetics my nose doesn't agree with at all. But I've got a tiny vial of this Guerlain as a gift with a purchase, so I'm giving it a fair chance.

    I love this one. It’s a beast of a perfume, it gets one spray on my abdomen under clothes. Such a glorious rich, spicy scent.

      I have it in a dabber bottle, so I am currently awash with it 😀 So far, so good, it feels rather great.

    I was very pleasantly surprised by this one - on paper it wouldn't be especially in my wheelhouse but it is really good: warm and just spiced enough for texture and interest.

      Indeed. I never reach for honey or amber fragrances, but Ambre Samar feels way better than anything in this category.
