Deploy the chemical agent: Rosechocolachouli

My favorite version of Angel. I feel that the original Angel lacks enough depth as a result of the muddy gourmand patchouli thing. The contrast of a deep, fruity rose is exactly the counterpoint required to provide us with a masterpiece.

Top: aldehydes, the buzz of Angel’s accord, and a tea rose floating along the aldehydes. It isn’t overly sweet, it isn’t botanical, and it isn’t expensive smelling— but it smells damn good.

Heart: oh this, this is the stuff of legends. The rich, fruity, dewy, chewy, and vibrant neon rose blooms as it takes center stage. The stage was set for the rose to shine, as the backdrop of Angel is an excellent scene for a note to excel in.

Base: the same delicious base as the regular Angel with the whisper of rose. The rose is unapologetically synthetic (I’m sure there are naturals in there too….somewhere!), but not damascone heavy. It lacks the bitterness of a Knowing (Estée Lauder), it doesn’t have the bright, watery, crispness of the men’s Lyric (Amouage), but rather a simple message:
