I decluttered this a year ago from my collection. I found the Angelica to herbal for me. I was fine without it considering I have SDV. I ordered a fragrance and this came instead. I decided to try her again before sending her back. 1 spray won't kill anyone.

She's nice, and it's summer. I get mostly vanilla. Maybe a hint of woods. Was I wrong to throw her away last year? Do I need her since I have SVD? Now I'm second guessing myself. I didn't like her in winter, but summer she is very nice. Trying to be more mindful on my spending would I buy her again? Maybe, but just to have her in my collection. Having SDV I'm not missing anything really.

    I love Angelique Noire for the hotter weather but also I end up using SDV all the time now, evenings when it’s hotter

      Do you find them the same? I find them very close. I prefer SDV

      Oh not really tbh. From the Guerlain vanillas I just find VP and SDV close or SDV and Shalimar L’Essence (but for this one I still find them very far apart). The Angelica in AN is very strong for me so I detect that a lot more. It’s hard to pick a fave for me because I love them both 😭 have you tried Cuir Beluga? It’s another really nice vanilla from Guerlain, I also find different from all the ones I mentioned

      In winter I picked up a dig difference in them and didn't like the Angelica note. Thus the declutter. Right now in summer i find them similar. VP and Shalimar L'essence I think are identical

    This is my bring only one to the island fragrance so I could easily be biased. However, if you don’t love it, do not keep it. Too expensive for that! If you really want to explore it again, get a decant and play with it at different times and in different situations.

      Yeah, that is something I am struggling with. I want it for the collection, but also I know I'll pick something over it 90% of the time.

      Noooo. That is just an expensive dust collector or, paper weight. It looks just like the other bottles, you won’t miss it. Unless that kind of money is F-you money for you, then go for it.

      Lol My husband says perfume is cheaper thab divorce so I could honestly. However, I don't like to waste money. Thus it was a blind buy and a Declutter last year lol

    I’m going to say.. if you’re asking the question then you don’t need it? I try my absolute best to only buy total and utter ‘love completely’ FBs unless it’s a cheapie blind buy. Or it just gets too much, if you’re already sitting on the fence then you likely might not reach for it?

    As a third option, you could dig around on resale sites for one of the 10ml that came in the A&M mini/travel sized collections?

      Those 20ml travel sizes are fantastic. I wish the whole line came in that honestly.

      The little pairs of 20ml for the metal travel atomisers? Yes! It's like a very cool hack to get a slightly less exorbitant bottle! (Or the mini 10ml collections that the A&M and the Extraits have? The full set is very pricey but others have bought and sold off as separate bottles which is where I've picked up a couple before)

      I love the mini sets. My only issue is in my mind it's so close to the price of the bottle that I'd rather buy the bottle. Sounds so silly I know.
