Orange in the morning, tea in the evening

The opening notes are incredibly realistic mandarin or clementine. This lasts for several hours on clothing as a bright and refreshing start to the day. Hints of orange blossom creep in from the heart to lighten it, make it more airy. Where this perfume really shines, though, is the drydown. Herbal basil, green tea, and chamomile with whispers of the warm creamy base notes and just the lightest touch of bright orange remain on clothing into the next day, providing the depth that was missing in the juicy top notes. It soothes instead of energizes, which is a remarkable contrast from the opening. I ordered this as a travel spray knowing I was fairly indifferent to orange notes but trusting Guerlain to make magic. I purposely took the chance due to Guerlain's reputation and it didn't disappoint. Surely on skin, the longevity will be poor, as expected from a citrus, but i encourage everyone to give this a try on clothes to experience the journey from energizing morning perfume to soothing citrus chamomile tea to help you wind down in the evening. Perfect for summer or late spring.
