Aqua Media Cologne Forte

My goodness, I thought I'd love this from the notes but it smells even more incredible than I thought.

The bergamot in this is spectacular. So bright and natural, and mixed with the zestiness of the lemon verbena (which is a note I absolutely love) it gives me the most perfect citrus opening. Natural, bright, and piercing, but not screechy in any way.

I'm also a huge tea fan, so the matcha note is a great addition. It is quite subtle on skin, hiding behind the vibrant citrus, but it perfumes the air, giving a mellow grassiness to the scent. The fennel is relatively mild, and isn't overwhelming - it simply contributes a herbal warmness and sweetness.

Such a beautiful, clean, lightly sweet scent. The standout from the Aqua line of the ones that I have tried so far.

The projection is quite strong, and lasts for about 3 hours. It remains on skin around 7-8 hours for me. Very good for a freshie. Luckily, the citrus stays almost the whole time. The dry down is a mellow, slightly sweet green tea scent with a whisper of musk. I don't really smell the cedar much at all.

This is a fantastic unisex scent that I can't stop thinking about. It feels like the notes were tailor made for me. I find it unique to the other tea and citrus perfumes I own because of the fennel, the larger ratio of citrus to tea, and the excellent performance. 9.5/10 rating. I will have to pick up a bottle at some point!
