Trying out the smoky Asad

Interesting smell definitely leans older as @thejudgeholden pointed out in their review and I think this comes from the tobacco smell mixed with an alcoholic cogniac like smell that’s honestly quite strong.

If I’m being honest I don’t really get the pineapple note in the opening. That being said there is something that is making this slightly sweet and honeyed and i think thats coming from the tobacco vs the pineapple.

The patchouli is also noticeable and gives this a nice bit of kick to it whilst the vanilla helps to round this all out.

But god this is stronger smelling then I expected I’m feeling this in the back of my throat as I’m typing this out 😅

This definetely earns its cool spicy tag though whoo wee is this a nice hit of pepper.

If your into dark noir like perfumes definetely give this one a shot I think it will be right up your alley. Now if you’ll excuse me I think I’m going to need a minute to recover from the blast that is this perfume 😅

Despite all I said above I actually am kind of surprised and find myself liking this. It’s too much of an old vibe and there are elements of it I personally wouldn’t wear. But as a scent? It’s pretty good 👍

Edit: On drydown and letting it sit it reminds me of a smoky fire pit at a campsite now. Mostly the same notes but that dry wood is definitely coming out to play now.
