Oud for Mediocrity

If Oud for Greatness and Oud Satin Mood had a child, but it was made by Xerjoff. Clean oud with a comet cleanser type bleach smell alongside more subtle rose. The whole thing is overlaid with that distinct sweet, airy OfG note that smells a bit like BR540, some kind of clean ethyl maltol accord, so it smells like a standard rose/oud dressed up in a OfG costume. There are other fragrances that do this like PdM Carios, an orange and amber scent dressed up in OfG gauzy sweetness. Astaral reminds me a little of the (I think) now discontinued Atelier Cologne Emeraude Agar, which combines a light, clean bleach-y oud with a camohorous and medicinal eucalyptus. The AC is more original whereas this just feels like a mashup of popular fragrances.
