I’m on a fig roll

May as well make this a fig week after Father Figure, Nerolia Vetiver and then Sunfruit. Controversial comment, but I prefer Avgoustos to Debaser. It’s a fresh, green, woody, fruity fig that settles into a gorgeous creamy, Greek summer on my skin. It’s a little sweeter than Debaser with the orange blossom (which is probably why I like it) and doesn’t lean as milky in the dry down (I can find Debaser a little sickening if the weather is too warm).

It’s a nice sunny day here, but my scent bubble has me dreaming of the Aegean Sea.

    Huh, this is the first time I see someone talking about Avgoustos! Love the fig here. Love the scent. But it’s just so fleeting, it’s gone within the hour or two for me.

      I find the initial green blast dissipates quickly but the dry down lasts well on my skin, I get 6 hrs, which for the price point is fab.

      I really wish Sephora US hadn’t stopped selling Korres. It makes it less convenient, but it’s good to know ordering from their website is worth it.

    Oooooh I had this one on my try list!! It’s a pity these Korres scents are not available in stoew where I’m, I’d love to try them all

    have you tried arquiste - a grove by the sea? It’s green but delightful and very Mediterranean,super wearable. curious on your thoughts with that and Chloe plage du figuer? so many figs out there (both of these are not at all milky)

    A Grove by the Sea has been on my list for a while, but I haven’t whiffed it yet. I can find aquatic/marine scents a bit tricky though.
