As close to 1:1 as you can get

The time has finally come! The package arrived yesterday, and I was very excited to try it out! To start it off, I tested it on paper and was surprised because it was not too close, in my opinion. The fruity, creamy nuances were there in Azonto Absolu, but it focused more on the fruit compared to the Byredo.

However, when I sprayed it ON SKIN, it was a different story! To me, it smelled exactly the same! I even asked the missus, and even she had a hard time finding a difference. And mind you, BALDY FREAK Absolu is like my favorite scent currently. At this time, I was a little hammered, so I went to sleep immediately after I sprayed it, and that was my way of testing the longevity. Long story short, Byredo still won. I was able to sniff it off my arm the moment I woke up, while the Montagne was completely gone.

All in all, for the price, this is a great rendition. Close to 1:1 in terms of scent profile in my opinion on skin, and longevity will probably get better as it ages. We will see!
