I’m a big fan of BR540, I hate the hate it gets. To my nose it’s has a stunning fresh limoncello aspect to it in the dry down amongst hedione and saffron that comes from the Virgina Cedar that is stunning. There isn’t a single dupe that captures this. I agree that layering is not a requirement, this complex scent profile is enough on its own.

Wow. I don’t get any of that. I get warmth and sweetness but air and sterility. Maybe I’m nose blind to it. But I also feel it’s full so I never layer it. It truly fascinates me in the sense that everyone gets something different from it and I don’t hate it. But I just don’t know what it is.
