Well, this is a pleasant surprise! Everyone described it as dusty books in a church, but I get warm, spicy woods and cozy incense. It's a better fall/winter than summer scent, but it's surprisingly good and wearable! Anybody know if Serge Lutens L'Orpheline wears like this? I'm just starting to explore incense frags and have heard great things about that one. And it's a fair sight cheaper than Le Labo!

    Not at all. L'Orpheline is a cold, solitary, alpine-air sort of incense. It's comforting, but not in a warm way. More so the sense of peace we can feel when left alone.

      L'Orpheline made me picture a mountain scene. Walking alone, snow crunching underfoot, the distant scent of incense wafting through the valley.
