My latest obsession

Woke up to a cold, dark, rainy morning; finally, an excuse to wear this scent. I blind-bought this a week ago, and it has quickly become my latest obsession.

It opens with spicy notes of pink pepper and ginger, which make me feel warm on a cold day like this morning. After a short while, it evolves into a pleasant, creamy sandalwood with resinous and ambery tones, and a bit of powderiness. Finally, it settles into a woody and ambery base. Be careful not to spray on a concentrated area, however. The spices can come off BO-ish, I did four sprays on my chest and abdomen before and regretted it!

Performance: despite having spicy, resinous, and woody tones, it is a shy one. I would say it's a skin scent. I can barely smell it when my nose is up in the air, I have to bring my nose near my skin to smell it. So, you may have to go a bit heavy-handed on this. It lasted around 6–8 hours for me, which is enough for an office day.

Price: incredible. I got the whole bottle for around $70.

I normally do not do SOTN, but I have been wearing 1–2 sprays of this on cold, rainy nights. I am always looking for an excuse to wear this!
