This is so clever! What is typically a more fleeting, lighter top note manages to last for hours! And it's not just linear - though it's bergamot through and through, there's different depth and facets that reveal themselves across the day: it's more sparkly and bright in the opening, then a more serious velvet yet citrusy heart, and a round, creamy, vanilla tinged base that feels comforting - like like mandarins in condensed milk, or bitter orange ice cream. Fascinating composition that wasn't something I initially gravitated towards but on skin wear has really captivated me.

    It’s one of my favorite citrus scents, such an accurate Bergamot and the guaiac under it just goes amazing

      Ahhhhh yes: guaiac is such an enticing and appealing note to me! Probably why it makes me want to try layering it with Nissaba Chaco!

      Tonka Sarrapia was my initial WOW one that I yearned for, but I tried it recently and it had lost some of its sparkle for me, somehow?! I'm going to try again in a different season when I'm not all hot and bothered to see if anything changes, but honestly it's not a bad thing if I've fallen out of love with a £500 perfume tbh! (I have also found that I love the jasmine grandiflorum extrait as well as I'm already in trouble!)
