Bleu that sticks to you

This is gorgeous. This is the BDC with longevity the community has begged for.

Chanel was kind enough to hook me up with early access on this, and the experience here is totally new for this line.

The opening is still nearly identical to the BDC parfum. Lemon Zest, a little lavender, a little aromatic and densely fresh. Don't worry, this fragrance is still "Bleu".

After a minute or so, this becomes a totally different take on BDC as we know it. It envelops you, it's sensual, ambery, woody and there's an added layer of mature sweetness. It definitely feels like a touch of labdanum starts to cut through, shrouded in a thin layer of smoke. The smoke is held together by this super soft and approachable leather note. This leather isn't harsh at all, it's really nice, soft, and gives it a different kind of swagger. Thankfully, through the touches of smoke, the smooth calm leather in the base, and the ambers, this still is a very blue fragrance. I think this is appropriate for any season any reason except for summer daytime. This is a summer nighttime frag.

Think of Aventus Absolu to Aventus. It's the same kind of experience if I had to relate it to another house of flankers. This is Chanel's "Aventus Absolu".

Projection is really, really satisfactory. One spray on my watch band and this thing is STILL banging.

8+ hours of longevity. I do not care what anyone says here, this is extremely well done by one of my favorite houses.
