A Little Friday Sniffari!

I've been wanting to smell some new releases, and every store I go to is always missing *something* I want to smell.
Today, I got my nose on the new Gucci Gorgeous Orchid Intense, as well as a few Gucci Bloom flankers.
Gorgeous Orchid Intense has a incredible, delicious opening of chocolate, salty vanilla and orchid that sadly only lasts about 10 minutes. The dry down is also good, but unfortunately smells very similar to the dry down of Idole Aura - salty floral with melon - so unfortunately this is not one I will be picking up as it would be redundant. I highly recommend this one though. It smells incredible throughout and has good projection.
Bloom Ambrosia d'Oro is one I had to struggle not to pick up because it is a gorgeous jasmine and tuberose perfume. It has a very similar scent profile to Do Son in the opening and mid, but is milder, creamier, and dewier. On the dry down is where I really get the Gucci Bloom DNA and where it differs from Do Son. It now has a little bit of spices and a lactonic quality. Overall too similar to Do Son for me to pick up but it is a stunning scent. Unlike Do Son, it is very soft with not much projection, so I think it would be a very office safe white floral. It is beautiful and I was sad to leave it behind!
Bloom Parfum was a pleasant surprise on the test strip. Spicy chai, cardamom and tuberose? Sign me up! It is very unique smelling and honestly I think could be worn by men as well. The mid had a stage for about 20 minutes where I did not care for it as it smelled a bit like a doctor's office or reception area? Not sure what that was about, but after it passed, the drydown had an amazing caramel and mild, green banana scent mixed with the spices and tuberose. Finally a banana I don't hate. I'm going to have to pick up a bottle of this one for sure. It is going to be amazing in the cold weather.
