Wearing Blue Talisman Extrait by Ex Nihilo

I wanted to do a comparison after wearing Demon Dancer several times.

There is some overlap with the orange blossom for sure, but I think they are quite different overall in how the orange blossom mixes with everything else.

Blue Talisman of course has the sweet pear note in the opening that makes the orange blossom even sweeter. The background of amber and smooth woods gives it an overall fruity/sweet/woody profile that is more opulent and even juicy at times.

Demon Dancer is much sharper and greener with the rhubarb, blood orange, and currant. It makes for a much fresher scent with a tart/sweet/floral profile. It has a more living plant vibe with the green and floral notes vs Blue Talisman being a sweet flower and fruit feel. I would describe Demon Dancer as the more fun and casual fragrance between the two.

I will need to do a side by side test next with one on each arm. I suspect I will pick up a bottle of Demon Dancer but also still keep the extrait. I don’t think they are fighting for the exact same space.
