2nd wear-test, verdant pear

This is more interesting than I anticipated (which was also my experience with their It's a Match-a). This isn't a typical sweet gourmand kind of pear scent; it is almost earthy, a verdant green pear tree with ripe fruit. There is just enough sugar to balance the slightly warm calvados (a type of brandy made from fermented apples or pears that can only be produced in Normandy). Despite the calvados accord, this is not a boozy fragrance. Good longevity, moderate projection; both expected from an oil-based fragrance. Very affordable. The 4 stars is for personal opinion around who is the market for this & when will I be in the mood to wear it, more than the scent itself. Lovely fragrance. If you're a fan of green fruity scents, you'd likely enjoy this. I keep thinking of No. 97 The Guava Tree which has a similar vibe).
