Surprising given resins, woods and green notes! How does varnish come off as a note?!? I tried rose turpentine by M Heely and you absolutely smell turpentine

The opening 5 minutes is heavy on the turpentine - it gave me a stank face haha. But it quickly warms up into something much more pleasant. I barely smell it around me, but it's still present on skin.

I played the violin when I was younger too - it takes me back to my teacher using rosin on the strings. Will formulate my thoughts more clearly for a proper review later 😊

Then Bowmakers will be right up your alley. A maple-scented rosin seems to be the most distinguishable smell.
