I almost spent $1250

I absolutely love Fougére scents, they remind me of my dad during childhood and I like to think of wearing them as almost like a way of “passing the torch.” I was so tempted to just buy a sealed bottle for a ridiculous amount, but not before sampling it first. I gotta say first spray it smells similar to Beau De Jour from Tom Ford but then it starts to settle this smooth clove/nutmeg smell in combination with the lavender and geranium. Then the other woods start to kick in with that patchouli balancing it out. I think this is something I would keep sampling rather than committing to a full bottle, since I already have Beau De Jour.
