Brown Girl Jane Casino

The last one in the BGJ discovery set is Casino (as I've already done a write up on High Tea previously).

I already have a travel size of this, and I'm glad I do. This is a rich, syrupy, dessert-like coffee scent, with rich vanilla, decadent rum, cake, and toasted almonds. There is apparently rose in there somewhere, but I don't smell it much through all the gourmand notes. I really love this one in the fall and winter when I'm in the mood to smell like a delicious dessert. It is sweet, but I never find it cloying. I think the bitterness from the coffee and booziness from the rum balances out the sugary notes.

Decent projection and longevity on this one. Projects strongly for around 3 hours and remains on the skin for 6 hours. Not beast mode or room clearing by any means, but anybody nearby will smell you! And it is a definite compliment getter - it just smells so rich and yummy.

A well-balanced coffee, rum, and cake gourmand, perfect for when you're needing a little sweet treat in cooler weather. I give this one a 9/10!
