Damp Cave

A deep cave behind a waterfall in the jungle. An old, dirty fountain in a greenhouse. The reptile building at the zoo. Bune is stale and damp, but also cool and refreshing. Moss, lichen, soil, wet stone, and musty air. For lovers of dark, dank spaces.

This one is tough for me to pinpoint the specific notes. The opening is earthy and green, so I assume that's the davana and nagarmotha. I also get a sort of floral note that smells like a callery pear tree (if you know, you know)...thankfully that fades away pretty quickly. I'm surprised there isn't a moss note listed, because this smells super mossy to me. There is a cool mineral thing that absolutely smells like cave walls. I've been looking for my perfect "cave" scent for like 20 years and this is the closest I've found so far!

Not particularly wearable but I love the smell. It's so nostalgic! Specifically reminds me of going to Scenic Caves in Collingwood, Ontario as a child. Very atmospheric and interesting.
