Judging from the notes, there seems to be quite a lot going on, yet Burberry Touch is really just an easy-to-grab, clean, musky skin scent that never feels out of place.
The watery, ozonic quality of the violet leaves, with just a touch of juiciness, sets the stage for a fresh-from-the-shower, soapy, white t-shirt vibe. A hint of spice adds warmth and pale woods give structure.
Marketed as masculine, it carries no bravado - reflective of a time when men's fragrances leaned softer and more androgynous.
Its versatility alone makes it a worthwhile addition to any collection, but for the experienced nose, it might feel a little safe, unless you're drawn to that unmistakable feeling of nostalgia from the early-2000s
