A green nuclear bomb

I can't compare this to its inspiration, Amouage Beach Hut Man, as I haven't tried it. That being said, I'm a huge fan of this profile. It's unique and unlike anything else other than perhaps Hermès H24, but even that's a bit of a stretch.

The opening and heart are pure green. Mint and galbanum feature heavily here, with the orange blossom adding another layer of sharpness. In the heart, ivy, moss and vetiver keeping this in the same vein but with a bit of a twist. As it finishes, it leans into a clean dry wood with a hint of spice from the myrrh and patchouli. It's like going from working in a tropical jungle to wearing a crisp linen shirt at an oceanside bistro.

This is probably the strongest scent I have. I'm not exaggerating when I say it lasts 14+ hours on skin. I'm not even going nose to wrist to smell it at that point either. I've been complimented on it twelve hours after application as well. I've never been told it's too strong early in the day, so the performance is either very balanced and steady or my typically outspoken colleagues haven't said anything.

That performance actually detracts a bit of score in my eyes; I like fragrances with staying power, but this seems a bit excessive. I love the profile and presentation (aside from the attached tassel), though.
