Sweet Mahogany Bomb

I love the mahogany in this—tho I can see it ruining the fragrance for some; I blind bought this one, but I wouldn't really call it "blind-buy safe" (despite it being so in my case).

The mahogany's function in this reminds me of cassis' or blackberry's presentation in many perfumes. Whenever the 2 aforementioned notes are listed in a scent pyramid, I know I'm about to smell some decidedly-perfumey smelling perfume that conjures images of teens ageing into first jobs, cell phones and prom—it *will* transport me right back into the locker rooms and Hollister storefronts of my adolescence😂

All that is to say, maybe I feel I've...I don't know if "outgrown" is the correct way to put it, because fragrances with the green oriental flowery-aspect that notes like mahogany, cassis and blackberry impart still def hold a place in my heart! But I am in a phase now where I want chypre like every second lmao. Nothing else is "complex" enough anymore 🫠 edit to say that I do get pomegranate from this, less persimmon, but *mostly* green notes, mahogany, pomegranate and amber.
