It has toed the “need to scrub” line but it’s gotten a little more tolerable.
Progression: loud rose and baby powder -> spices, powder, and sour sweat -> musty desert sand with spices and a little baby powder -> powdery vintage men’s cologne

Oooh, super interesting fragrance journey! I might have to pick a sample of this up JUST to get my nose on it! I'm guessing no one commented on it, so it's not TOO offensive? Love your description of the fragrance's progression and it got Camel on my "To Try" list!

I was working from home today so there wasn’t much opportunity for any comments, but I don’t think it was objectively that bad except maybe for that iffy sweaty stage, I just really don’t like powdery scents. I actually like what’s left of it after about 10 hours (musky dusty spicy warmth), it just took too long getting there haha. I’m guessing it’s very dependent on skin chemistry. Definitely worth a try!

This perfume reminds me of several perfumes but not one of them is too similar to, it's more of a blend of all, Ombre Nomade, Kilian's Old Fashioned and Bvlgari Man in Black. The Backbone of this
