Birthday Dinner Pollen Party

I’m celebrating a birthday tonight and have anointed myself with some truly legendary juice.

Farnesiana sticks out when thinking about florals across time. What other dusty, mimosa-heavy, green, earthy floral do we have???

This is VERY similar to Une Fleur de Cassie (pre-Lauder reformulation -___-) up close, with the yellow pollen sticking to my nose hairs as I sniff.

Then a wet, dewy, lily creeps up and replaces the green hay note as it dances with the mimosa.

But from far away, when the bottle is open as I dab some on my wrist, hyacinth-purple violet/lily stink-waves come frothing up and the smell….otherworldly. Rich, floral, non-indolic, purple, dusty, earthy, and sweet without being anything else but itself.

I have worn this infrequently due to its rarity and the fragility of my bottle but more wears soon….love her!
