Before that there's something I can only describe as almost bitter? In the air its nice but I can smell it closer to the skin. I think it may be the aldehydes as I think its the same ones used in Taskeen Wowie. I'm going to give this one time to sit in time out because after that hour it's only the beautiful clean woody musk. I am trying to get my hands on a decant of the original because that shit is wayyy to expensive to blind buy essentially. Supposedly this is very close to the og, hopefully I can find out soon. Hopefully that will work better on my skin. The search for clean musk continues....le sigh...
ETA About 2-ish weeks later that weird sharpness before drydown is gone! I'm in swfl so I guess I gotta be more forgiving after stuff travels through the mail. Now its a creamy smooth, woody, crispy clean musk. It may have gotten a touch sweeter? That's no skin of my big back, because I love the sweets. I'm pretty sure mail shock is a thing, and have noticed it can take up to a month for shit to settle down. Im friggin excited to see if this gets even better. Still wanna test Cedar Chic though....just in case.
