Layering Test: Day 2

Tonight’s layering test is a pair of cheapies (I am nothing if not a magpie for a bargain).

Charlie Silver is currently my favourite of the Charlie line, despite the fact I get more magnolia and cherry blossom than I do apricot or pear. It wears more lightly than its siblings, meaning I don’t feel bad spraying it like it’s a body spray.

Unsurprisingly, White Coconut from M&S sort of disappears inside the Charlie - I think I hoped the coconut might complement the fruity notes in Silver and bring them out, but if I’m being generous I think all it’s doing is is adding a bit of nebulous creaminess. I’m generally not impressed with the M&S Discover line.
