   What makes the opening unpleasant for you?

      It’s the combination of the Anise and the citrus orange. It’s just unpleasant in the beginning. It goes away after about 10 minutes as the cherry floral takes over. I love anise as a note and have several other examples. But here it just doesn’t work for me

      I'm curious since I associate anise with licorice or ouzo and I hate one but like the other 🤔

      I love anise. Black licorice is a favorite candy. And I have several other perfumes that have it and are my favorites. I think that this scent is using anise as a contrast to all the sweeter cherry and floral notes.
