Scent Review: Chloé L'eau de Parfum Intense

Upon initial spray, the raspberry brings a bright fruitiness to the rose. The rose, while present, seems to be more of a supporting character to the raspberry. There is some woodiness but it isn’t in your face. As the scent blooms, I find that the rose becomes more apparent, much like the rose in the original DNA. It becomes stronger over time so you most definitely can overspray this.

Overspraying can cause it to become cloying and headache-inducing, especially in warmer weather. If you are sensitive to fragrance, a light touch is highly recommended!

While the rose is bright, light, airy, and even demure in the original, in this version I find that the rose volume is a bit more amped or turned up. You have to love rose - not like or enjoy occasionally, but love! This would be Chloé’s mother. The same DNA but more sophisticated if not a mature scent. I would definitely try before you buy.
