My first interaction with L’eau de Parfum was through the beautifully designed website. Immediately, I thought, “I hope the same amount of time, talent, patience, and attention to detail went into the fragrance” - especially given the notes listed. And to me, it all works beautifully.
It opens sweet, salty, creamy; you can truly feel the cotton candy, caramel, and buttered popcorn. It’s warm and inviting. Most of all, it’s fun. As it dries down, the buttered popcorn fades away, leaving the soft sandalwood, caramel, and cotton candy. It’s a difficult task to capture the textures and feeling of Cirque du Soleil, but Alexis Grugeon succeeded.
