Perfect hot weather

I love the smouldering warmth in this perfume. The opening is briefly zingy with thyme and bergamot followed by rosewood The middle notes feel heat-activated, like it properly comes alive on skin rather than just sitting there smelling “green”. There is sagebrush and basil which lend an almost medicinal feel, balanced perfectly with a softer rose. The drydown is my favourite part- there’s hay, but not soft cosy hay, this is dry, sun-baked, slightly scratchy hay. Then there’s this lingering smell like someone smoked outside, mixed with grass, dust and warm skin. It goes greener and drier at the same time. It’s not clean or shampoo green- this is more of a field green. Hot grass, dry herbs, hay, a bit of smoke, and something slightly feral.The animal that woud wear this perfume is absolutely a horse. A horse with a job. A horse that works hard, smells expensive by accident, and does not care whether you like it.
