I think it plays a part, but the largest culprits are probably the musks and ambergris in the base. They both feel a little thick, but not overly sweet. isn't the worst fragrance for heat, but I tend to prefer citrus, light florals and aromatics when it gets hot.

I like this but the tester doesn’t have the atomizer that the bottle does so I’m wondering if it would have a longer last from the bottle
