Not at all tropical, the opening is a pineapple that is not tropical nor juicy, more of a creamy one. It dries down into a suede type of scent with some bergamot that brings freshness into it. My mom smells some pepper in it but I don’t haha. It’s an easy everyday soft leather scent that feels light and effortlessly chic
