   I had to order a L’Art & La Matière discovery set because the Belfast Guerlain counter sucks ass and doesn’t stock the fancy line. Cruel Gardenia isn’t in it😩 do you think it’s worth ordering a decant to try?

      I don't think there's fancy Guerlain anywhere on the island. In Dublin, the Guerlain counter also seems always neglected, hence all the decants and samples. Cruel Gardenia is a nice fragrance, very photorealistic flower and stem. But it's not exactly something groundbreaking. It sticks close to the collection's premise - showing the beauty of a single ingredient. Worth trying if you have a chance, but not worth going out of your way. There's plenty of similar perfumes out there for a more reasonable price.

      Thank you. Eeshh I thought Brown Thomas would’ve been a bit better 😩 my whiff list wish list is sooo long because I have to rely on ordering samples and decants because the in store choice is so pants. I think people think I’m exaggerating when I say I have to get on a plane if I wanted to try things in store. Any recommendations for decant sites? I tend to stick to 50mls because I know it’s reputable. Ohhh also, have you tried any Cloon Keen perfumes?

      Brown Thomas is all Aqua Allegorias on Grafton. Arnotts also has two Shalimars, Vetiver, Samsara, Mitsouko, Habit Rouge, Mon Guerlain and Insolence. There are a few LPRNs in Dundrum too, but that's about it. Often, testers are left empty for weeks, and there isn't a soul nearby to ask questions. I get most samples and decants from facebook groups lol. Also ordered some from Nose and Notes (Denmark) and Jovoy (France).
