Summery Cherry

I quite like this! This cherry is a little tart, but not in the sour cherry way I hated with Carmina and Juliette. Instead it’s just a little tart, balanced by a light strawberry sweetness. I often find strawberry too sweet and cloying but it’s really nice here.

I was expecting strong performance considering this is an esprit, but it’s been a skin scent since I sprayed it and I have to sniff my wrist to enjoy it. I’m surprised considering the high sillage rating on Parfumo. I really like the scent but I would never pay the high price of this for that kind of performance. I don’t like perfumes that yell but I prefer it to do more than whisper.

It’s hot and humid today so I think I’ll have to try it again in different weather and see if I get more from it, since it’s such a beautiful scent.
