The Essence of Confusion

Someone called this a Frankenstonien beauty. A green chypre outside of an aldehydic floral with a floriental twist and big beastly fruity accords. Plus this essence— oh…yeah it’s got an essence to it!

So I will endeavor to describe this weirdo.

The esníf:

Top: aldehydes, rich fruit, greenery, big bitter bug

Heart: every note listed plus some and confusion. It’s not like Robert to have a composition be so prickly and odd. It’s sickeningly sweet and intolerably bitter yet awesome.

Base: bitter moss.

What a weirdo!

I cannot rank this but I wear it a lot. It’s like I’m trying to process the trauma of it all. RIP Guy Robert, whose Uncle is Henri Robert! What a legacy, like the Guerlain’s and Polge’s.
