A Rare Miss by Heretic

Until now I've loved everything I've tried from Heretic, but this one is a pretty huge let down. I sprayed a healthy amount on, the same I normally do for most fragrances, and it really just disappeared into my skin. I'm huffing my arm trying to get notes but it's just so subtle. The vanilla is faint, the cedar is faint, and that's kind of all I got. It's kind of a dusty vanilla. My fiance says it smells like corrugated cardboard that's vanilla scented, which is... certainly not a rave review to say the least lol.

EDIT: 3-4 hours later, somehow the fragrance started to come to life. I was sitting here and was just hit with unexpected vanilla. I actually asked my fiance if he'd put on any perfume only to find out it was just an incredibly slow burn from my Heretic. It's still subtle, but I actually caught the fragrance without looking for it, so it's not as much of a disappointment as I thought it'd been.
