I don't know if I can ever go back to the OG

I loved the original Drunk Lovers, but after wearing the extrait for the first time, it floored me. Dark, jammy, sweet, slightly oudy, and just as sexy as the OG. Not as "mass-appealing" but for my tastes, it blows the original out of the water.

The longevity is SHOCKINGLY strong. Probably the strongest longevity I've ever experienced in a fragance. 12 hours, and it still smelled like the mid drydown. After a shower, it still smelled strong. Honestly, it borders on too much- I basically have to commit to wearing this stuff until it decides it doesn't want to be there anymore, lol.

The DNA is vlearly shared between this and the OG, but the combination of the wine accords and oud give it this almost hard berry candy type of feel. Almost feels like it could be in Kilian's dark gourmand line. The deep drydown also has some absolutely gorgeous vanilic tonka, which is absolutely top-tier.

I won't reach for this stuff regularly, but when I do, I'm positive I'll be satisfied!

      It really did! Honestly, it pains me to give it a 4 instead of a 5, but the extreme lack of versatility and the fact that it's basically impossible to get off had to knock it a little bit 😂

      You definitely do! The OG is definitely brighter, has more warmth, and more of that designer-style sweetness that makes it so easy to like for enthusiasts and the average person alike. The extrait is definitely more challenging, but for my money, it basically takes the OG and makes it tailor-made to my own tastes. I may have to bump it up to a 5 star the more I'm gushing over it 😂
