D.S. & DurgaCoriander4.063 ratingsThis is my favorite DS&Durga fragrance that I’ve tried so far. It’s kind of in that Versace Man Eau Fraiche vein in that it’s a watery, fresh scent but there’s a cool spiciness here that adds another layer to it. That + the soapy-ish dry down is just so good. One of my favorite high heat scents.

Yesss 🙌 glad to see another fan! I don’t see this one talked about nearly as much as some of their other fragrances. I know it’s marketed as a “women’s fragrance” but this one is very unisex to me. Not that it matters either way, I was just surprised to see it’s presented as a feminine scent.

This, Bowmakers, and Burning Barbershop are the only ones I had and loved that they continued to make. All the others got discontinued over time. I used to go to their studio sales in Brooklyn before they had retail spaces. I posted about loving Coriander once and David’s like “I’m still surprised you like that one… It’s not dark or gothy at all.” Ha! All this to say I think more people like it than they realize or initially conceptualized, haha.

Ah so maybe they didn’t expect it to be a hit huh? I hope they continue to make it! It’s one I will absolutely get a backup bottle for if they ever discontinue it. I sampled Bowmakers and remember liking it as well. Burning Barbershop is still on the wishlist though. It seems very much up my alley though. That’s cool you have that relationship with them! They’ve always struck me as cool people who are really passionate about the art of perfumery.

Oooh I gotta get my nose on this. Maybe adjacent to coriander/this description reminded me, I’m a big fan of Corail Oscuro (Diptyque) - basically an aquatic spicy pepper 🌶️

I haven’t tried that one in particular but I do love Diptyque and I feel like if you’re a fan of theirs in general then you would like this. It doesn’t smell like Philosykos but it’s a similar vibe.
