From the brand: “An olfactory meditation on dust...attic air, the inside of old trunks, abandoned haylofts, library stacks, and abandoned buildings”. Which is like, sooo my thing. Couldn’t wait to get this on me!

First impressions: why is it so springy?! The opening was oddly sharp and green. Over the next hour, I started noticing something darker lurking behind the loud opening note. Finally, it’s settled into that romantic dustiness I was hoping for. It reminds me of the basement of this thrift store I used to frequent in the infamously grungy downtown of Hamilton, Ontario. Will attach a throwback photo…gosh I miss living in Steeltown

  I’m really liking it! You just have to get past the out-of-place opening note. I’m finding the longevity isn’t too bad for a perfume oil. I think there might be a soft incense note as part of the “dust” accord but hard to say for sure
