My second go at testing this one! My first sample, sadly, got absolutely shattered when I dropped it clumsily (Loewe does glass vials for samples, I learned!), and I had barely tried it then, but liked what I had tried, and my apartment smelled great for a week. So now I am trying it again and have to say, already eyeing a full size bottle. It’s truly one of the best, if not the best fragrance I have tried recently, love the Loewe DNA. Really lovely blended, really smooth, smells expensive but nothing in your face. Is this a compliment getter? No, I don’t think so, it’s a fragrance to be discovered and it’s perhaps unremarkable if you are not into fragrances, but if you appreciate good scents, you will know that creating something like this is no mean feat. And it’s fantastic, long lasting, elegant.

    Ahh no.. smashed perfume hurts my heart lol. I’ve only smelt the OG, is the elixir very different to it?

      Uhhhm… it’s similar BUT I find the OG to be more “transparent”, like it’s missing depth and richness which the Elixir has. I also really love that the pear and violet come through in the Elixir and give it a sparkling quality. And the longevity is really good with the Elixir, doesn’t have great projection or sillage but great longevity.

      Thank you. The OG disappointed me, I found it quite aquatic and was left wondering where the truffle was. Will defo try the elixir.
