Such a happy fragrance!

Friendly, girly, warm, lightly tropical, slightly banana-y - this brings me waves of nostalgia of foam banana candy; happy, sunny ylang-ylang; the cosiness of familiarity but still maintaining a distinct, grown-up, chic and elegant scent character. I don't have anything else that's like this (despite being a huge ylang-ylang fan). I don't think this would be one that younger or less experienced noses would gravitate towards - I think it would be more appreciated by people who have spent more time with a broad range of notes, houses and fragrance types to find those intriguing salty, clove and patchouli notes hiding among the bergamot, ylang-ylang and jasmine sambac in the composition.

Oh and one HUGE downside is that - of course! - Guerlain have discontinued it... 😭

On performance: happy to report that it lasts REALLY well - I'm still getting waves of it 8hrs after application today! Projection is about 1 metre, probably 2m in the first hour.
