Unexpected Notes Yet Still Enjoyable

As a whole, the fragrance feels soothing and meditative as the title says. It goes on sharp but sweet, something floral, the incense of course being the primary scent. Interestingly enough, when I first sprayed it, the sharpness I smelled before it even dried down reminded me almost of mustard or mustard seed.

After drying down, a lot of the notes that registered as sweeter to me started to fade while the primary incense notes remained. However I'm noticing the sweetness and sharpness have morphed a bit. There's really only one thing I can actually compare it to, as odd as it sounds. There's a specific sweetness that certain bug sprays have, for specifically it ever so faintly reminds me of Raid! bug spray.

Now I want to reiterate, the fragrance smells primarily and almost entirely like a very soothing and meditative incense. The hint of mustard, the tinge of bug spray, they're faint, they're reminders. I don't want anyone to take this as a detraction or anything negative about the perfume, but I still found it so interesting that I wanted to include it.
