Nice! I haven’t read The Bell Jar but it looks interesting, added to my to-read list 😊 right now I’m reading the second book in the Court of Thorns and Roses series but I’m not super into it. My favourite author is probably Ursula K. Le Guin, and my favourite series is The Locked Tomb by Tamsyn Muir

This is the only Sorce I own! I’ve found the house definitely leans sweeter than my own preferences, but this one is definitely perfect for a cozy fall day of reading.

I’d say it’s less sweet as far as Sorce goes, but the vanilla/marshmallow was pretty pronounced in the dry down. The iris/orris was nice, I thought it worked well with the sweeter notes and the sandalwood. Fwiw my partner felt the opposite of me, he thought too much orris and not enough sweet (he likes gourmands and I’m not as into them)

The perfect scent for an afternoon spent reading. Super interesting one. I get the powdery orris and the marshmallow, and I get the campfire and the paper notes. I definitely like it.
